The Algeria-Nigeria-Niger mega gas project faces security concerns, while the Nigeria-Morocco gas pipeline nears a final investment decision, according to the Africa Report. As Rabat prepares its budget decision for the Nigeria-Morocco pipeline, Algiers seeks to revive talks with Niamey and Abuja on its Trans-Saharan Gas Pipeline (TSGP). Algeria, having signed a memorandum of understanding two years ago, plans a trilateral meeting to assess progress on the 4,128km TSGP, according to Energy Minister Mohamed Arkab.
