Morocco’s ambassador to Spain, Karima Benyaich, underscored Rabat’s commitment to solidarity with Spain after devastating floods in Valencia. Following King Mohammed VI’s directive, Morocco dispatched 24 pump trucks and over 70 operators to assist in relief efforts after the Dana storm. The storm claimed 215 lives, including seven Moroccans, with eight still missing. Benyaich also noted measures to aid Moroccans affected by the disaster, emphasizing the strong ties between the two nations.
