According to a statement from Libya’s Ministry of Transportation, Chad has requested the resumption of flights with Libya, along with enhanced coordination at the land border crossing and the preparation of a MoU (Memorandum of understanding) for cooperation in the transportation sector. The request came from Chad’s Chargé d’Affaires in Tripoli during a meeting with Libya’s Minister of Transportation. Also discussed, a proposed strategic road project that would connect northern Libya with its southern region, extending further to Niger and Chad, along with improved coordination at border crossings.
