Libyan writer arrested over Lockerbie bombing documents
Libyan writer and politician Samir Shegwara has been arrested on national security charges after publishing documents that allegedly link Libya’
Admiral Bauer, Chief of NATO Military Committee, visited Morocco this week where he met with the kingdom’s Defense Minister Abdellatif Loudiyi and other senior officials. This was Bauer’s third visit in a month to the region. The Admiral also briefed the Royal College of High Military Studies in Kenitra on NATO’s global approach to security and its partnerships in the southern neighborhood.
During his visit, Admiral Bauer lauded the NATO-Morocco relationship. “Time and time again, you have brought your expertise and experience to the table, for instance by elevating discussions on countering terrorism, maritime security and illegal immigration. We also highly value your regular participation in NATO Exercises”, he said.
