Death toll of Palestinian journalists in Gaza reaches 165

The Gaza government media office says that the death toll of Palestinian journalists has now reached at least 165 since October 7, following the recent killing of Al Jazeera journalist Ismail al-Ghoul and cameraman Rami al-Refee by an Israeli airstrike in Gaza.

In a statement, the media office condemned the “targeting and killing of Palestinian journalists,” saying it holds Israel responsible for this “heinous crime.”
