Egypt's Permanent Ambassador to the United Nations Osama Abdel Khalek

Egypt’s UN Ambassador Osama Abdel Khalek urged Israel's withdrawal from Palestinian territories, warning against the "killing" of the two-state solution. At a UN Security Council meeting, Abdel Khalek reaffirmed Egypt's support for Palestinian rights and called for action to enforce Israel’s adherence to UNSC resolutions, including withdrawal from Palestine and Lebanon. He pressed for a Chapter VII resolution to halt Israel's Gaza offensive, establish a temporary ceasefire, and permit humanitarian aid access.
