Chad’s government has launched an investigation after a group of 24 armed assailants attempted to storm the presidential compound
Egypt and Qatar plan to collaborate on a "very important" real estate project on Egypt’s north coast, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly announced Wednesday, per a cabinet statement.
The announcement followed Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani’s visit to Egypt, where he met President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and the foreign minister.
Qatar’s interest in north coast tourism investments was welcomed, though the Qatar Investment Authority declined immediate comment.
