Egypt sees 11% increase in value of exports to Germany during 1st half of 2024

Egypt’s Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) reported that in the first half of 2024, Egyptian exports to Germany totaled $463 million, up 11% from $417 million during the same period in 2023. Egyptian imports from Germany also rose, reaching $2 billion in the first half of 2024, a 5.3% increase from $1.9 billion in the first half of 2023. Overall trade between the two countries grew by 4.2%, totaling $2.5 billion compared to $2.4 billion the previous year.
