Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty is set to visit China from December 12-13, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning announced at a regular press conference Wednesday. The visit will feature a strategic dialogue between the two countries at the foreign ministers’ level, Mao confirmed. Egypt, which hosts the Cairo-based headquarters of the Arab League, plays a pivotal role in the 22-member assembly of Middle Eastern and North African nations, including Syria, reflecting its regional and international significance.
