Egypt's engineering exports increase by 29.9% during first 7 months of 2024

According to the Engineering Export Council of Egypt (EEC) from January to July 2024, Egypt's engineering exports experienced a growth of 29.9 percent, hitting $3.052 billion. 

Key sectors with the biggest increase exports during the initial seven months of 2024, included cables which grew  by 36.2 percent, electrical appliances by 5.5 percent, automobile components by 32.8 percent, household appliances by 12.2 percent, electrical and electronic industries by 8.6 percent, and means of transportation by 152.4 percent.
