Chad’s government has launched an investigation after a group of 24 armed assailants attempted to storm the presidential compound
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry is expected to discuss developments in the Middle East and the situation in Gaza with his Turkish counterpart during a visit to Turkey at the weekend, according to Reuters.
Shoukry and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will also evaluate the latest developments in negotiations for a ceasefire in Gaza, Reuters said.
