A recent report from Egypt's Food Export Council, led by Mahmoud Bazan, revealed that Egyptian food industry exports reached $4.6 billion from January to September 2024; marking an 18 percent growth and an increase of $688 million compared to $3.9 billion in the same period of 2023. This has been highlighted as the highest export value and growth rate for the sector over this period, setting a historical record.
