During the first half of 2024, Egypt’s food industry exports have grown by 25 percent, totaling $3.2 billion. The findings came out in a report from the Food Export Council (FEC). The bulk of Egyptian food exports during this period were directed towards Arab nations, amounting to $1.64 billion, constituting 52 percent of the total exports and expanding by 24 percent. The European Union followed closely with contributions of $701 million, representing 22 percent of the total exports and showcasing a remarkable growth rate of 55 percent.
