Egypt's Inflation expected to drop to 14.5% in February

Egypt's annual urban consumer inflation is projected to fall sharply to 14.5% in February, down from 24.0% in January, according to a Reuters poll of 15 analysts. The significant decrease is attributed to the exceptionally high price increases over the past two years no longer influencing the statistics. The data, gathered between February 27 and March 5, suggests a notable easing of inflationary pressures.
