Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on Wednesday stressed the urgent need for humanitarian aid in Gaza following a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. Sisi, whose government played a key role in mediating the agreement alongside the U.S. and Qatar, highlighted the protracted efforts that led to the truce. Starting Sunday, the ceasefire will be monitored by a joint body based in Cairo, involving Egypt, the United States, and Qatar, to ensure ongoing stability and aid flow.
