Erdogan says Turkey could intervene in Gaza war

Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said his country could intervene in the war on Gaza. Erdogan suggested Turkey could ‘enter’ the conflict as it had done in others, without giving specific details.

Turkish and Israeli officials initiated a war of words against one another on Sunday and Monday after Erdogan said in a speech that “there is no reason” that Turkey could not act, noting military interventions made in the past in other countries.
