Fixing Libya’s economy will require undoing the racket, not cosmetic consensus Libya’s economy is in free fall, and
Frontex, the EU's border agency, will continue informing Libyan authorities about migrant boats in distress in the country's waters, the agency’s chief said after a German charity accused Libya’s coast guard of threatening its crew during a recent rescue.

The EU has funded the Libyan coast guard to curb migration since 2015.
