The EU said it will not renew a fisheries deal with Senegal, accusing the country of non-cooperation on illegal fishing. The EU delegation in the West African country has accused Senegal of “failures in monitoring, control, and surveillance systems” on Senegalese ships in extraterritorial waters as well as on foreign vessels in the port of Dakar. The fisheries deal expires Sunday.
