French police have arrested a key figure of the Mocro Maffia, a notorious cocaine-trafficking gang based in Belgium and the Netherlands, a gendarme source said Wednesday. The suspect, a Moroccan national in his 30s, was the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by the Netherlands. Elite GIGN officers detained him Tuesday afternoon as he left a restaurant in Paris' 18th district. The arrest was carried out without incident, according to authorities.
