President Donald Trump on Wednesday sent tariff letters to seven smaller U.S. trading partners, including Algeria, Libya, and Iraq,
According to a report by Maghreb Intelligence more than 23,000 Algerians residing in France have had their residence permits either blocked or frozen by the French authorities. The media outlet went on to highlight that “since 2023 the French authorities have discreetly launched extensive security and administrative investigations into the situation of Algerian residents involved in influence networks close to the Algerian government.”
