French school textbooks for the 2024/2025 academic year will include Western Sahara as part of Moroccan territory, marking a significant development in French Moroccan relations, according to citizens of the Moroccan community living abroad (MRE) in France.
The new maps, which extend from Tangier to Lagouira, were reported on French television, indicating a shift in how the region is represented.
