A French court sentenced Mohamed Medjdoub, a 29-year-old Algerian ISIS supporter, to life in prison for a 2019 bomb attack in Lyon that injured 13 people, AFP reports. Medjdoub, who showed no remorse during the trial was described by experts as dangerous and narcissistic Prosecutors say he aimed to sow fear before European elections to provoke anti-Muslim backlash. It is unclear whether he was radicalized in France or in Algeria, where he lived until 2015.
