Starlink in discussions to provide Moroccan Sahara with high-speed internet
Africa Intelligence is reporting that global satellite internet provider Starlink, owned by Elon Musk, is in discussions with Morocco to
French-Moroccan midfielder Bilal Nadir is reportedly considering representing Algeria at the international level, according to Morocco World News.
The 23-year-old, who holds both French and Moroccan citizenships, also has Algerian heritage.
Currently playing in Ligue 1 for Marseille, Nadir represented Morocco at the U23 youth level. He has played 14 games this season but only started three of them. He now reportedly faces tough competition for a spot in Morocco’s national team, which may be influencing his decision to explore playing for Algeria's national squad, the Fennecs.
Citing a report from FootballClubDeMarseille, Morocco World News states that Algeria is actively pursuing Nadir to secure his commitment to their team.
In addition, Ismaël Bennacer, a key figure for the Fennecs, is reportedly in discussions with Nadir and his family to facilitate a smooth transition and ensure he joins Algeria’s squad for the upcoming FIFA international break.
