French-Moroccan midfielder Bilal Nadir is reportedly considering representing Algeria at the international level, according to Morocco World News.

The 23-year-old, who holds both French and Moroccan citizenships, also has Algerian heritage.

Currently playing in Ligue 1 for Marseille, Nadir represented Morocco at the U23 youth level. He has played 14 games this season but only started three of them. He now reportedly faces tough competition for a spot in Morocco’s national team, which may be influencing his decision to explore playing for Algeria's national squad, the Fennecs.

Citing a report from FootballClubDeMarseille, Morocco World News states that Algeria is actively pursuing Nadir to secure his commitment to their team.

In addition, Ismaël Bennacer, a key figure for the Fennecs, is reportedly in discussions with Nadir and his family to facilitate a smooth transition and ensure he joins Algeria’s squad for the upcoming FIFA international break.
