Tunisian president calls for changes to central bank law
Tunisian President Kais Saied on Saturday called for the law governing the central bank to be amended. In a video
German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier thanked Egypt for mediating in the Gaza war during his visit on Wednesday. In a joint statement with President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Steinmeier urged continued efforts for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. The statement expressed concern that the conflict continues to risk spreading into a broader regional conflagration.
