Germany’s Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock met with Morocco’s Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita in Berlin as part of ongoing discussions concerning working together more closely on climate protection and the energy transition. At the top of the agenda for the new partnership is stronger collaboration on climate adaptation, expanding renewable energies and producing green hydrogen. Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita’s visit to Berlin included the first session of the German-Moroccan Strategic Dialogue, which discussed issues such as the fight against the climate crisis and migration. The Middle East conflict was also on the agenda.
