Google marked the 69th anniversary of Morocco’s Independence Day by featuring a special “doodle” on its homepage, showcasing the Moroccan flag waving against a backdrop of an orange-yellow sky. The date commemorates the 1955 return of King Mohammed V from exile and his landmark speech announcing the end of France’s protectorate over Morocco.
