Togo is considering joining the Alliance of Sahel States (AES), a bloc led by military juntas in Mali, Burkina Faso,
Moroccan footballer Hakim Ziyech has donated food and supplies to 300,000 people in Gaza through UNICEF, Turkish media report. The former Galatasaray and Chelsea player, now with Qatar’s Al-Duhail, reportedly contributed a large part of his salary to humanitarian aid. A vocal supporter of Palestine, Ziyech has consistently condemned Israel’s actions in Gaza.
