Morocco received a record 17.4 million tourists in 2024, up 20% compared with the previous year, with Moroccans living
Hilton will more than double its presence in Morocco, signing nine hotels across seven global brands. The expansion includes the debut of Waldorf Astoria in Rabat, alongside LXR Hotels & Resorts, Curio Collection by Hilton, and Hampton by Hilton. Carlos Khneisser, Hilton's VP for Middle East and Africa Development, cited Morocco’s rising appeal, with 13.1 million tourists visiting in the year’s first nine months, up by two million from 2022.
