International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutor Karim Khan on Tuesday called on Libya and other nations to help arrest six men allegedly tied to a militia accused of killings and crimes in a key western town where mass graves were uncovered in 2020.

Addressing the U.N. Security Council, Khan pledged to collaborate with Libya and ICC member and non-member states to facilitate the arrests. The ICC, lacking its own police force, depends on cooperation from its 124 member states.
