IMF releases $496 million in aid to Morocco

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has released $496 million to Morocco following the approval of the third review under its Resilience and Sustainability Facility (RSF). This latest disbursement raises total aid to approximately $1.24 billion. Initiated in September 2023, the 18-month RSF arrangement aims to bolster Morocco’s transition to a green economy and enhance resilience against natural calamities. IMF Deputy Managing Director Kenji Okamura commended Morocco's robust economic policies for their resilience amid adversities.
