India’s Sterlite Power set to invest $5-6 billion to develop a green hydrogen grid in Egypt

During a visit to India by Egypt's investment minister Hassan El Khatib, the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade has revealed that India-based power transmission infrastructure company Sterlite Power proposes to develop a dedicated electricity grid for green hydrogen projects in Egypt. Reporting by Renewables Now says that the Egyptian government has signed numerous agreements for the production of green hydrogen and its derivatives over the last few years, yet these projects remain in the very early stages.
