Reporting by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) office in Libya, during the last week of March, 480 migrants were intercepted and brought back to Libya, according to the latest update published on its social media channels.
The majority of migrants intercepted last week were brought back to Tripoli (247 in March 25, 177 in March 28).
IOM also reports that, since the beginning of the year, 3,791 migrants have been returned to Libya, including 3,403 men, 267 women and 121 children.
