Israeli officials have requested talks between the Shin Bet security service and Egyptian counterparts to address a potential Gaza ceasefire, according to Sama, citing Israel Hayom. The report states that Egypt has not yet set a date for Shin Bet representatives to visit for discussions. Separately, Israel Hayom reported that Egypt, during discussions with U.S. officials, proposed a temporary ceasefire of two to three days for humanitarian purposes.
