Rescuers recovered four bodies and four survivors Tuesday after a diving boat capsized off Egypt's Red Sea coast near Marsa Alam, AFP reports citing Red Sea governor Amr Hanafi. Eight people remain missing.

Survivors include two Belgians, a Swiss national, and an Egyptian, bringing the total number rescued to 32. The boat, Sea Story, carrying 31 tourists and 13 crew, capsized Monday after being hit by a large wave.

Rescue operations continue with military helicopters, a frigate, and divers. Earlier, 28 survivors were rescued, some treated for minor injuries. Passengers included tourists from Europe, China, and the U.S., with missing individuals reported from Poland and Finland.

The vessel, fully licensed and inspected, sank within minutes, trapping some in cabins. The Red Sea, a major tourist destination, has seen similar accidents recently. Despite robust safety regulations, enforcement remains uneven across the region’s busy dive sites.
