Tunisian Authorities Use Arbitrary Detention to Silence Critics, HRW Says
Tunisian authorities have jailed dozens of critics on politically motivated charges in a widening crackdown, Human Rights Watch (HRW) said
According to the French presidency. President Emmanuel Macron, U.S. President Donald Trump, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Jordan's King Abdullah held a call on Monday to discuss the situation in Gaza. President Marcon has been visiting Egypt and at a joint briefing with Egyptian President Sisi said: "We condemn the resumption of Israeli strikes on Gaza," Macron said, warning that the situation on the ground was worsening "dramatically". Gaza’s health ministry says at least 1,391 people had been killed since 18 March, when Israeli forces resumed their offensive following the collapse of a two-month truce.
