Libya and Turkey set to sign MoU on cooperation in renewable energy

According to an advisor to the Libyan Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity for Electricity and Renewable Energy Affairs, Osama Al-Darrat, Libya was in discussion with Turkey over a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the field of renewable energy.

Speaking to the Turkish Anadolu News Agency, Al-Darrat explained that Turkey is working with Libya on electricity turbines that operate on gas and fossil fuels. He also highlighted an area for investment in renewable energy east of the capital, Tripoli, where Turkish companies are expected to play a major role in implementing these investment projects.
