Libya asks Germany for help in lifting European airspace ban

Libya’s Minister of Transportation of the Government of National Unity, Mohammed Al-Shahoubi, requested Germany's assistance to lift the ban on Libyan airliners in European airspace, as well as to resume flights between the two countries. This request came during his reception of the new German Ambassador to Libya, Ralph Tarraf, accompanied by the Embassy's Economic Affairs Officer.

The Ministry of Transport said that Al-Shahoubi called for activating joint cooperation between the two countries and for German companies to return to work in Libya.
