Morocco and Mauritania to boost military ties

Libya’s acting Foreign Minister in the National Unity Taher Al-Ba'our government met with a delegation from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led by Ambassador Karim Amellal, the Ministerial Delegate for the Mediterranean Basin. The meeting, which included French Ambassador to Libya Mustafa Mihraje, discussed bilateral relations and political developments in the Libyan and international landscape. According to the Libyan Observer the parties also reviewed cooperation in various fields, focusing on efforts to combat irregular migration. During the meeting, Al-Ba'our commended the French support for Palestine's gaining full membership in the United Nations.
