The acting Foreign Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Al-Taher Al-Baour, has revealed his government's intention to appoint a non-resident Libyan ambassador to the State of Palestine. This according to reporting by the Libyan Observer quoting an interview with Palestine TV, the FM noted that this appointment was scheduled to be announced during the visit of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to Tripoli, but that visit had been postponed.
