In a meeting between the Head of Libya’s Civil Aviation Authority, Abdul Rahman bin Youssef, and British Ambassador to Libya, Martin Longden, the restoration of flights between Libya and the United Kingdom, particularly to cities with significant Libyan communities was discussed. The British diplomat agreed to liaise with relevant UK departments to support Libya’s Civil Aviation Authority’s efforts and commended the progress made particularly in aviation safety and compliance with international standard
