Libya NOC’s new acting chairman says focus now on boosting output and transparency

In an interview with Reuters this week, Libya's National Oil Corporation’s (NOC) new acting chairman Massoud Suleman said that the company is focused on raising output and boosting transparency. Suleman went on to say that the goal of transparency is so that "any investor can have a high level of confidence that any money injected into the NOC will be used in the best possible way." This comes as Africa's second-largest oil producer recovers from a period of political instability and looks to alleviate any fears that foreign investors might have about putting money into Libya.
