Libya repatriates 369 Nigeria and Mali migrants

Libya repatriated 369 irregular migrants to Nigeria and Mali on Tuesday, including over 100 women and children, an official told AFP. Mohammed Baredaa, head of the Libyan Interior Ministry's organization responsible for curbing irregular migration, confirmed that two flights were conducted, returning 204 Nigerians and 165 Malians. The repatriations were carried out in coordination with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), according to Baredaa. However, some migrants have claimed they were forcibly deported.
