UN envoy Tetteh pledges Libyan-led Solution to country’s crisis
Hanna Tetteh, the new UN Special Representative for Libya, arrived in Tripoli Thursday to assume leadership of the United Nations
According to Turkey’s state-run media Anadolu Agency, Mohammed al-Huwayj, Libya’s Economy and Trade Minister has said Turkey is the “number one” trade partner in terms of infrastructure, the oil industry, energy, health and economic development. Al-Huwayj said Libya aims to diversify its economy as quickly as possible, emphasizing that energy is a key sector since transportation, agriculture, services and industry depend on it saying that “Turkey’s experience in these fields is considered the best in the short term, and we will benefit from it.”
