Lockheed Martin expands Morocco presence to boost defense industry

U.S. defense firm Lockheed Martin plans to expand operations in Morocco after high-level talks with the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE), the company said. The move aims to enhance local defense capabilities and industrial partnerships under Morocco’s defense equipment law. CEO for Africa and Saudi Arabia, Joseph Rank, led discussions on strengthening supply chains with firms like TDM Maroc and SABCA Maroc. The 50-year partnership includes supplying F-16s and C-130H aircraft.
