Mali and Morocco hold first Joint Military Committee meeting

A Moroccan military delegation led by Major General Abdelghani Mouhib met with Malian officials in Bamako Monday, for the first Joint Military Committee meeting of the two countries, according to Hespress, citing a statement from Mali’s Defence Ministry. The committee aims to strengthen bilateral defense ties. Discussions covered training, equipment, and counterterrorism efforts, as Mali faces growing security threats from armed groups in the Sahel.
