Morocco’s King Mohammed VI met with Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, as the two leaders reaffirmed their partnership across various sectors. Of note was the desire to connect the two neighboring countries, including the Afro-Atlantic gas pipeline and the initiative to facilitate access to the Atlantic Ocean for Sahelian countries.
