Mauritania boycotts a Polisario conference in Geneva

Mauritania abstained from participating in a symposium organized by the Polisario Front in Geneva on the sidelines of the 57th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, which concluded on September 12^th. The conference entitled «From occupation to self-determination: a comparison between Western Sahara and Palestine». It comes after Mauritanian parties had already ignored, on June 6, an invitation from the Polisario to a conference organized in the Lebanese capital.
