Morocco's National Center for Studies and Research on Underwater Heritage, a division of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, has unveiled the discovery of two 19th-century shipwrecks near El Jadida. Found near the beach and the port entrance, these metallic vessels reflect the port's historic trade significance. This finding, part of ongoing efforts to explore the nation's underwater heritage, aligns with historical accounts of numerous wrecks from the same period at the port.
