Acting on intelligence provided by the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), an operation, led by the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ) uncovered weapons, chemical fertilizers, electrical wires, and welding equipment, all materials that could be used in manufacturing explosives. According to intelligence reports, the suspects, aged 26 to 35, had recorded a video pledging their allegiance to ISIS, saying they would carry out imminent attacks.
