Morocco arrests suspect linked to possible terrorist attack

A 19-year-old man is in custody pending a judicial investigation into his possible links to potential terrorist organizations. A statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) said the arrest operation took place in collaboration with the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST). The DGSN said “the suspect… had expressed his intention to carry out terrorist plans that would severely harm public safety and order.” 

The investigation also sets out to determine any other possible connections with various terrorist organizations.
